Mr. Abdullah S. Bakhraibah
Abdullah Bakhraibah has been appointed as the CEO of The Arab Investment Company (TAIC) in August 2024. Abdullah is poised to lead the company in building and developing its business and achieving its new strategic objectives.
Abdullah brings over 16 years of experience to the role, gained through working with international and local financial institutions. His most recent position was as CEO and Board Member of State Street Saudi Arabia Financial Solutions, a CMA licensed subsidiary of State Street Corporation, one of the world’s largest global financial institutions. During his tenure, he spearheaded the opening of their office in the Kingdom, expanded their business presence significantly, launched local portfolio management, endorsed local partnerships, and hosted the State Street Corporation Board of Directors meeting in Riyadh in April 2024.
Prior to that, he served as Head of Business and Products Development at Ashmore Investment Saudi Arabia from 2019 to mid-2020 where he chaired the board of Ashmore’s investment funds and Tazah Limited Company.
From 2015 to 2018, he was Head of Sales in Saudi Arabia for Gulf International Bank (UK) and GIB Capital where he led the business development, and represented GIB Capital’s Debt Capital Market team in the issuance of $ 12.5 billion Bonds with the National Debt Management Center at the Saudi Ministry of Finance.
Abdullah's career journey also includes various roles at SAB, including structured derivatives and treasury risk advisory from 2008 to 2015. He began his professional career at SAB as a Money Markets and Investment Dealer in the Treasury Department in 2008.
Abdullah was elected as a member for the Capital Market Authority’s Capital Market Institutions Committee back in 2020 for 2 years.
Abdullah holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

Mr. Fahad A. Al-Haqbani
Fahad Al-Haqbani has held the position of General Manager of Finance and Administration Affairs at the Arab Investment Company (TAIC) since 2014. He oversees the Finance Department, Human Resources and Administration Affairs Department, and the Information Technology Department in TAIC. He is also a member of the Investment Committee as well as the Credit Committee.
Previously, Al-Haqbani held the position of the Director of Human Resources and Administration Affairs at the TAIC, and also held the position of Senior Manager-Services Projects Department for seven years since joining TAIC in mid-2001
Currently, Al-Haqbani also holds the position of Board Member and a member of the Executive, Nominations and Remunerations Committee at Taajeer Finance Company in the Sultanate of Oman, which is a listed Joint- Stock company specializing in financial leasing. He is also a Board Member and a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee at Arab Jordan Investment Bank (AJIB) - Jordan, which is a listed Joint-Stock Company, as well as a Board Member at Jordan Arab Investment Bank - Qatar LLC.
Prior to joining TAIC, Al-Haqbani worked in the Projects Management Department at the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) for 8 years, during which he gained extensive experience in various fields, including investment, finance, and industry
Fahad Al-Haqbani holds a Master's degree in International Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from King Saud University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Dakheel A. Al Zahrani is the General Manager of Investments at TAIC and responsible for developing investment strategy and policies, leading and managing the investment team, supervise and oversee the investment process, establish processes to ensure investment policies are followed, and make decisions on asset allocation, selection of external managers, and risk management across portfolios.
With over 25 years of experience in investment management, business development, and strategic planning, Mr. Al Zahrani has developed extensive expertise in direct investments, company valuation, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, financial advisory, corporate financing, risk management, and project management.
Mr. Al Zahrani joined TAIC in 2013 and brings wealth of expertise to his current role having previously held several managerial positions at the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF), Al Faisaliah Group (AFG), and the National Industrial Development Center.
He has served as Board Member on several companies in the past. Currently he holds Board and Committee memberships at the Egyptian Company for Propylene and Polypropylene Production in Egypt, Bidaya Finance in Saudi Arabia, Kenana Sugar Company, and the Arab Leasing Company in Sudan.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia, and a Master’s degree in International Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom. Mr. Al Zahrani has also completed numerous specialized courses at prestigious institutions, including INSEAD, Euromoney, and the Saudi Banking Institute in Riyadh.

Mohammadine Menjra is the Acting General Manager of Bahrain Branch of The Arab Investment Company (TAIC), which is licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain as a Conventional Wholesale Bank since 1982. Mr. Menjra joined TAIC in March 2007. As Acting General Manager, Mr. Menjra is responsible for directing and managing all branch functions, developing strategies and business plans, and ensuring that all departments meet their annual objectives and targets.
Mr. Menjra has 30 years of banking experience. Prior to joining TAIC, Mr. Menjra was the Head of Financial Institutions at Credit Du Maroc (previous Moroccan subsidiary of the French bank - Credit Agricole S.A of France) which saw him excelling in expanding the bank’s international footprint.
During his time at TAIC, Mr. Menjra held roles as Head of Correspondent Banking & Syndications, Head of Compliance, and Head of Operations. He successfully led the transformation of the Operations department, enhancing accuracy, reducing compliance risk, and improving efficiency by automating processes and cutting operational costs.
Mr. Menjra also managed the implementation of various critical projects, including Business Continuity, Treasury System, Core Banking System and the recent Libor Transition. He currently chairs the Credit and ALCO Committees for the Bahrain Branch and serves as a member of TAIC level Credit Committee.
Mr. Menjra holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio University, USA, and an MBA in Marketing from Golden Gate University, USA.

Mr. Mahmood Salman
Mahmood Salman holds the role of Head of Finance and Administration for The Arab Investment Company, Bahrain Branch which is licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain as a wholesale banking branch since 1982. Mahmood joined TAIC in October 2016. His responsibilities include all aspects of financial and human resources management of the Branch. In his role, Mahmood leads and provides strategic direction to a team of Finance and HR professionals covering financial strategies, planning, accounting and controls, financial reporting and analysis in addition to all activities related to human resources and administration function.
Mahmood brings to the role over 20 years of professional experience in the fields of banking, finance, audit and human resources. Prior to joining TAIC, Mahmood served as Head of Finance for The Family Office Company, Bahrain, an investment management firm licensed by the CBB. Mahmood has held a number of additional roles at different high-profile institutions including the wholesale banking unit of Arab Bank plc., Bahrain in financial control department and PricewaterhouseCoopers M.E, Bahrain office, where Mahmood was part of the assurance and advisory function.
Mahmood is also a member of the bank’s Credit Committee as well as TAIC level Credit Committee, in addition to his membership in various special task force committees established to manage different banking projects and activities.
Mahmood is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from Institute of Management Accountant, USA. He also holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of Bahrain in addition to specialised Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards.

Mr. Nitin Gupta
Mr. Nitin Gupta is the Director for Risk & Compliance. He joined TAIC in 2005 and is responsible for providing leadership and development & implementation of Enterprise-wide Risk Management and Compliance Frameworks.
Mr. Gupta has over 25 years of professional experience with specialization in Risk Management, Internal Audit and Finance. He has hands on experience in developing and implementing various risks frameworks – Credit, Market, Liquidity, Operational, Compliance & AML and Information & Cyber Security including Risk Appetite and Stress Testing.
He is a Chartered Account (CA) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from GARP, US and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from IIA, US.
